Football Content Writing Internship For World Cup 2022
We are looking for 7 Football Writers & Social Media Interns to work in team FootTheBall during World Cup 2022.

We are looking for bright, passionate, hard-working and great writers to be a part of our team through our internship program.
All internships for FootTheBall are PAID.
You Will
- Work on writing articles driven around DATA, PLAYER STATS, TEAM STATS & RISING BALLERS during World Cup 2022
- Generate stories, gather information, and publish articles with the ability to deliver a unique voice
- Review content before its posted by proofreading and spell-checking to QCing videos
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team across FTB to align the content we post with the strategy in place
- Curate content to be posted
- Learn CMS
- Learn best practices in SEO
- Relentlessly seek to improve our reporting — every word in every headline, every sentence in every story — to craft compelling news and content for our reader that align with FootTheBall brand values.
Internship Requirements
- Available For Full Time (in-office) Internship or a remote role only if you are outside India
- A creative mind with a passion for Football / Soccer
- Available For Duration Of 6 Months
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
- WORKING IN SHIFTS
- Team player, Quick learner and efficient who is able to think “outside the box” on certain tasks
- Able to work well under pressure
- Obsession with soccer and a deep understanding of what matters to fans and how they want to consume it, including how soccer intersects with culture, fashion, music, and more.
- A vision for what text content should look like in 2022 beyond traditional news and features — including lists, best ofs, investigations, infographics, polls, and etc. The modern fan consumes more than newswire updates, and we won’t set our coverage apart by doing what every other outlet does.
- An understanding of analytics, data, and using data to drive insights and performance. To succeed in the role, you will need knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Analytics.
